HCA is driven by you! There are many ways to get involved:
- Take Action: Advocate for housing and other related policies that HCA has endorsed. Learn more on our Advocacy page.
- Annual Walk Committee: Help plan our annual Walk for Affordable Housing, a community event that is also a fundraiser for HCA. Meets regularly between fall and spring (when the event occurs).
- Real Estate Committee: This group identifies new sites for affordable housing and helps advance current projects. Meets monthly.
- Tenant Council (for HCA tenants only): The Tenant Council builds community among HCA tenants, and brings tenants’ voices to HCA’s management of our housing properties in order to keep our properties in good shape and maintain a high quality of life for tenants. - Volunteer: Help with office tasks, mailings, phone calls before events, or other needs.
- Host a House Party: Help us meet new people who want to get involved! Invite your friends and neighbors to your home and HCA staff and Board members will plan a fun, casual, and informative gathering.
- Provide childcare or interpretation during events as needed
