David J. Levy Executive Director
David Levy joined the Housing Corporation in December of 2003 as HCA's first Executive Director in over three years. David comes to HCA with more than 10 years of experience in the field of affordable housing. Having worked at such organizations as the Somerville Community Corporation and, more recently, CASCAP, Inc. in Cambridge, David brings valuable perspectives from communities that continue to struggle with a lack of affordable housing.
In his first year of service, David spearheaded HCA's efforts to purchase and rehabilitate five additional two-family homes. He also helped secure a grant from the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), which enabled HCA to hire a part-time community organizer. With a firm belief in both social and economic diversity in Arlington, David is honored to serve HCA and the greater community around issues of affordable housing. David is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA, with a Bachelors Degree in Urban Geography. David, his wife Persis, and their two children, Ethan and Sadie, live in Arlington.
